Wisconsin Youth Company's Celebrating Youth! and AFTER SCHOOL Spring Fairs are two of the company's main annual events, promoting and celebrating youth talent, positive development and achievements. An exciting event new to our Dane region families is Madison's SummerPalooza-- an annual festival in June around the Capital square showcasing all there is to do in Madison's family-friendly downtown.
At Madison's Kids Expo event in March, which is open to the public, Celebrating Youth! showcases amazing youth performers on stage throughout the weekend. During the month of April, we host regional AFTER SCHOOL Spring Fairs--in Madison for our Dane County locations, and in Waukesha for our Waukesha County locations. The fair is an opportunity for all the program staff, AFTER SCHOOL children and their families to gather and share a fun evening of activities and taking pride in the kids' artwork and projects on display, as well as performing on stage. Be sure to visit our Photo Gallery to see photo albums from Celebrating Youth! and the regional AFTER SCHOOL Spring Fairs!
At this year's Madison’s annual Kids Expo, we enjoyed two days of exciting youth performances on the Celebrating Youth! stage--showcasing positive youth development. From Hip Hop to Irish stomp, these performances gave us an opportunity to let young people know how much we value their creativity and positive energy. Visit www.bravamagazine.com/MadisonKidsExpo.aspx to learn more about Kids Expo, they're exhibitors' who provided wonderful resources and information for families at the event, and fabulous performances on the Celebrating Youth! stage! Check out photo galleries from 2015 Celebrating Youth! stage.
