Overview/Schedule

The Wisconsin Youth & Family Center (WYFC) provides structured academic programming and social support to middle and high school youth who live in the Elver Park neighborhood. The center is sponsored by Wisconsin Youth Company and is housed in the same building as the WYC administrative offices. It offers academic support through a daily homework club and one-on-one tutoring. Recreational opportunities include a gym for basketball, a pool table, Wii video games, Dance, Dance Revolution and table games. Special activities such as garden club and Hip Hop 360 are also available. Youth can also participate in community service projects. The center is funded in part by the City of Madison, Dane County, Community Development Block Grant and the Madison Community Foundation.
