Volunteer

Volunteers are important to Wisconsin Youth Company programming. Volunteer opportunities are available at our AFTER SCHOOL program sites and at our summer day camps. Most of these opportunities involve working with children ages five to 11. We also accept volunteers at the Wisconsin Youth & Family Center which serves middle and high school youth. The Wisconsin Youth Company is seeking volunteers to join its Board of Directors.
Responsibilities will include:

Willingness to learn about Policy Governance as a model for conducting board business
Willingness to participate in 10 board meetings per year, committee meetings and annual board retreats.
Willingness to prepare for board meetings by completing assignments outside of the meeting.
Qualified applicants will possess excellent oral and written skills and have a passion to support an organization that strives to serve youth and families to the best of its ability.
