Wisconsin Youth Company’s 7th annual Back2School Supply Drive looks to meet the needs of families in southwest Madison and ensure students start the school year with all the tools they need to succeed.
This year’s supply drive continues its expanded mission in serving elementary, middle school, and high school students, with the goal of giving away 600 backpacks filled with school supplies at the Back2School Block Party.
Community members and businesses can support this year’s Back2School Supply Drive in three simple ways.
- Donate school supplies
Donate new school supplies at one of 19 donation station sites throughout Dane County. You can also browse our Amazon Wishlist and send supplies directly to Wisconsin Youth Company — quick and easy!
High-demand school supplies include glue sticks, markers, and colored pencils. A full list of necessary school supplies can be found here.
All school supply donations will be collected on August 10.
- Donate a backpack — and your donation will be matched!
Through a partnership with Fenrici, every backpack you donate will be matched with another. That means double the impact for students in need. Donate a backpack here.
- Make a monetary donation
Your monetary donation helps fill in the gaps and ensures every student gets what they need. Donate here.
All backpacks will be distributed Thursday, August 20 at the 11th annual Back2School Block Party.
