In Good Company Breakfast Celebrates Partner Organizations Supporting Youth
The Cap Times Kids Fund presented with Community Partner Award for its dedication to youth
Madison, Wisconsin (Wednesday, August 6, 2025) — Wisconsin Youth Company hosted its 4th annual In Good Company Breakfast, honoring businesses and organizations that make its work possible through meaningful partnership. The event brought together corporate and community partners, board members, and staff to celebrate shared commitment to supporting children and families in Dane and Waukesha counties.
As part of the event, Wisconsin Youth Company presented its 2025 Community Partner Award to The Cap Times Kids Fund. This annual award recognizes a partner that has demonstrated exceptional dedication to advancing the organization’s mission through their time, talents, and resources. The Cap Times Kids Fund has been a consistent and valued partner since 2016, supporting opportunities for youth at Wisconsin Youth Company’s two neighborhood centers, Elver Park and Theresa Terrace.
“It is always impactful when we can dismantle the financial barriers families face, and provide our children with such meaningful experiences,” said Jen Weber, director of neighborhood centers, Wisconsin Youth Company. “The Kids Fund has assisted us with this work, and has made it possible for us to provide field trip experiences to our kids. We thank them for their continuous support and believing in us to be the place where kids thrive beyond the school day.”
Since 2016, The Cap Times Kids Fund has made it possible for hundreds of children in neighborhood center programs to participate in field trips and enrichment experiences. From visiting the Milwaukee Zoo to taking swimming lessons or enjoying local amusement parks, these experiences have helped expand children’s horizons, build confidence, and create lasting memories. With more than 90 percent of children in neighborhood center programs qualifying as low income, these opportunities provide meaningful access to experiences outside their immediate communities.
Nancy Saiz, co-chair of the Child and Family Development Committee accepted the award on behalf of the Kids Fund.
Wisconsin Youth Company extends its sincere appreciation to the 10 key supporting organizations and businesses that attended this year’s In Good Company breakfast, and to the many partners that continue to support its mission of providing opportunities for youth to be their best selves.
