As businesses begin to re-open, Wisconsin Youth Company offices remain closed and our limited staff are working remotely. We are putting all of our energy into being ready to serve children this summer. Thank you for your patience with our delayed response times.

Make A Difference. Make A Donation.

This is a challenging time but we are not without hope. Wisconsin Youth Company has been helping children thrive beyond the school day since 1974. As we continue to move through the COVID-19 crisis, Wisconsin Youth Company is working to provide emergency services and supplies to families in need. We cannot do this alone. Make a donation to support Wisconsin Youth Company in our efforts now and for many years to come.

Thriving Together

We have an amazing staff team who are making daily deliveries to families through the Elver Park and Theresa Terrace Neighborhood Centers. We are partnering with the Madison Metropolitan School District, Joining Forces for Families and local food pantries to increase the number of families we can serve. We are currently able to serve 45 families, including 143 children. With the help of donations, we are hoping to expand our reach to 60 families and deliver not just meals but non-perishable groceries and cleaning supplies such as dish soap and antibacterial wipes. For more information about Thriving Together efforts, check-out our blog, linked from the homepage.

Summer FUNd

Summer staff are planning small group games, water sports, and individual activities to ensure that kids can still have the experience of being with friends and peers and enjoy a positive social interaction. In order to ensure that summer camps can run safely, we are asking for financial support from our community via corporate sponsorship, grant funding, and individual gifts to provide personal protective equipment (PPE) for camp staff and additional cleaning supplies to disinfect surfaces. Click the orange Donate Now button above to make your donation.

Greatest Need

With mandated closures of schools and no clear end in sight, it is necessary to plan for both the short- and long-term effect that COVID-19 will have on our organization, our community and our staff. What is clear is that these plans may need to be re-evaluated and changed from week to week as the pandemic continues and our programs remain on hold for the foreseeable future. Making your donation toward the greatest need allows our leadership team to make decisions with confidence and change our priorities as needed.

Our Proud Supporters

Our supporters play an important role in supporting the programs and families of Wisconsin Youth Company, Elver Park and Theresa Terrace Neighborhood Centers. Through contributions, volunteer work, in-kind donations or services, our supporters help build high-quality programs to ensure our community’s youth thrive.

Other Ways to Support Us

AmazonSmile

If you are making online purchases, AmazonSmile is a simple way to support Wisconsin Youth Company at no extra cost to you. When you shop smile.amazon.com, you have the same experience as shopping on Amazon; however, 0.5% of your purchase will be donated to the charitable organization of your choice, at no extra cost to you. If you shop on Amazon, we would very much appreciate your support. All donations made at this time will go towards greatest need or feeding our community.

In-Kind

While we are unable to accept food or items donated at this time, we welcome you to share your stories of favorite memories and moments with Wisconsin Youth Company. We encourage all of our supporters to do their part by staying inside and following health and safety mandates to keep our community safe. We will gladly accept goods, services and professional expertise once it is safe to get our programs up and running smoothly once more.

Business Partnerships

One of the things we are hoping to do is lift up and support our local small businesses while finding ways to raise funds for our direct support delivering food to families in need. If you or your business is interested in discussing a potential collaboration, please reach out to our Fund Development Coordinator, Emily at ewills@wisconsinyouthcompany.org.

Community Need Wishlist

We are currently working with families to discuss their greatest needs at this time, from ingredients for a dinner recipe to basic essentials such as toilet paper and hand soap. If you are interested in contributing, we ask that monetary donations be made for any items you wish to provide. This way our staff can ensure we are able to fulfill as great a need as possible, meet the requests of families in our community, and ensure the health and safety of our families and staff.
