Neighborhood Centers

The Elver Park Neighborhood (EPNC) is housed at the Wisconsin Youth Company Administrative Office, 1201 McKenna Blvd., Madison, WI 53719.  EPNC youth programs are sponsored by Wisconsin Youth Company and funded in part by the City of Madison, Dane County and the Community Development Block Grant.

The Elver Park Neighborhood Center provides support to children and families in the greater Elver Park neighborhood. We support children through out-of-school time programming that focuses on academics, social-emotional learning, and health and wellness. We support families through being a bridge to schools and assisting families in accessing services in the community. Our working relationship with both Madison and Middleton schools is a vital piece of the work that we do. In all of our work with children, we focus on helping them to make graceful transitions. Families must meet income qualifications to enroll in EPNC K-5 programs. Please contact the administrative office for more information at (608) 276-9782. For middle and high school youth, our teen program provides structured academic programming and social support. Teens have supervised access to homework resources, a computer lab, gym and small garden.

The Theresa Terrace Neighborhood Center (TTNC) originated from a group of mothers in the Hammersley-Theresa neighborhood, who united in a grassroots effort and lobbied for a neighborhood center.  We've been serving and providing programs to hundreds of children and families on Madison's southwest side since opening the center in June 2015.  Specifically, TTNC provides free elementary age after school and summer camp programs, adult employment services and other community events.  We operate using a two-generation approach; identifying and serving the needs of our community while creating opportunities alongside our neighbors and community partners.
