Camp Glacier Creek is back and down the hall from morning summer academy in Kettle Moraine High School, June 18 through July 27. Our summer day camp is the perfect compliment to your child’s day, with all sorts of camp fun in the afternoon. Theme-based programming runs from 12:35-4:45 p.m. daily with after camp activities
4:45-6 p.m. NEW! After camp activities are included in your weekly enrollment, improving your child's camp experience, extending field trips and offering more theme-based activities. No before camp activities available during half-day camp weeks.

​Camp Glacier Creek also offers full-day camp from July 30 through August 24, located at Brandybrook Community Center. Theme-based programming runs from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. daily. Before and after camp activities available during full-day camp weeks.

NEW! Before and after camp activities are included in your weekly enrollment. Campers may be dropped off between 7-9 a.m. and picked up between 4-6 p.m. During these times campers will pursue supervised self-directed activities, play outside and enjoy fun games with friends!

Camp Glacier Creek provides a wide range of weekly theme-based activities from science experiments to dance, painting to outdoor adventures, aquatics to treasure hunts and more!  Campers will enjoy a field trip each week, daily staff-led activities including a variety of hands-on projects and opportunities to try new things. Campers are grouped by age allowing for low camper-to-staff ratios, creating an ideal environment for campers to develop positive relationships with peers and staff. Camp Glacier Creek is state licensed, American Camp Association (ACA) accredited and YoungStar rated.

Registration Deadline

You may register or add weeks any time until the end of the business day on Friday (5 p.m.) six business days prior to the week being requested, provided space is available.

Age Groups

Entering Grades K-6  |  Campers must be 5 years old to attend camp

Grades K-2
Nurturing and loads of fun combine to put big smiles on the faces of our campers!  Group leaders engage young campers in theme-related games, crafts, outdoor exploration and creative play.  Campers will have a variety of activities to do during the week that will keep them busy having fun and learning.  Group leaders will help campers spark new interests in a variety of topics.

Grades 3-4
Group leaders provide age-appropriate activities for campers, including sports, games, arts and crafts,  nature adventures and free-play.  Campers will have the opportunity to explore activities based on a weekly theme.  Group leaders will encourage campers to try new things and expand campers’ interest and knowledge in various topics.

Grades 5-6 (Teens iN Transit - TNT)
TNT is a special program designed to appeal to our older campers who want to move beyond traditional summer day camp.  TNT campers will help determine their activities which will be based on the weekly themes.  There will be opportunities to develop leadership skills by helping with all camp activities and mentoring younger campers.  They can also pursue special interests, build friendships and conduct service-learning projects.  Campers will take field trips to fun destinations, learning about themselves as they explore their community.  TNT is for teens on the move!

Movin' & Groovin'

Let’s start up the summer with a hippity hop! Join us as we get our groove on with crazy dance moves, engaging activities, and thrilling games. There will even be a lesson and performance from a local dance studio. Save up your energy for a week of nonstop fun!

Icky, Sticky, Ooey Gooey

Everyone needs some time to get their hands dirty. We will be exploring our messy sides with fluffy slime, gooey treats and sticky art creations. From cooking to coloring and gardening to slime, we’ll have everything in between. Come dressed to make a mess!

Party in the U.S.A.

Let’s start the week with a bang! Get ready for a week full of celebration as we create our own party in the USA. There will be capture the flag, water balloon dodgeball and patriotic activities galore. To end the week, we’ll take a refreshing trip to the pool.

Picking Up STEAM

Join us for a week filled with intriguing experiments and limitless fun! We will challenge each other with project contests and science experiments. Campers will be taking a trip to the Planetarium to explore far away galaxies. Campers will also have a variety of engineering and building activities throughout the week.

Dream Big!

Big dreams come with big ideas! Join us as we supersize camp with big games, big projects and big fun. We will be transforming camp into a place where dreams become reality. We’ll take a trip to the Waukesha County Fair to see award-winning animals and shows.

Go for the Gold

Join us as we go for gold this week! We will have everything from treasure hunts to gold medal games. We will dig up rocks and minerals, and use a variety of stones to create bracelets and necklaces. We will take a trip to a local stone yard where campers will be able to gather and build their own rock collection.

Splish Splash

Let’s make a splash! We’ll challenge each other with water-based games and science experiments. There will be sponge races, water balloons and a giant Slip n’ Slide. We’ll top off the week with a trip to the pool for more water fun. Don’t forget your towel!

Goin' Green

This week is about appreciating the place we all call home: Earth! Learn how you can help the earth and the many things that live on it—including you! We’ll create recycled art, grow our own plants and cook up some delicious healthy snacks. To top it off, we will create our own camp golf course!

One Amazing Adventure

Join us as we create one last amazing adventure at camp! We will have adventurous games and imaginative projects throughout the week. Campers will visit Miller Park to explore their hometown Brewers baseball stadium. To finish the week off, we’ll spend some time at Buchner Park before we refresh at the pool!

Camp Finale

The end of summer is near, but before we part ways, let’s write an amazing final chapter. Play your favorite games, sing your favorite songs and remember all the fun memories of the summer. There will be water games, kitchen fun, art projects, group challenges and much more! We will spend the last day at the park playing games and having a picnic. Don’t miss out!

Weekly Schedule Descriptions

Snack and Lunch  |  Morning and afternoon snacks are served daily during full-day camp weeks. Afternoon snack will be served during half-day camp weeks. Campers must bring a bag lunch not requiring refrigeration or microwaving each day of program. Milk is served daily and available at lunch when campers are on site. Parents are responsible for supplying a beverage when kids are off site at lunchtime.

Camp  |  All camp participants will receive a program shirt which must be worn on all field trips and swimming activities. Additional program shirts can be purchased for $12 each.

Field Trips  |  Campers will take field trips to fun, educational destinations related to the weekly theme. Field trips are taken via charter school bus or leased van with an approved driver. Notice of all field trips are posted the Friday prior to the start of the week.

Swimming  Campers will visit an area public beach or swimming pool each week, weather permitting. Campers swim only where lifeguards are present and only in areas designated as safe by the city and county health departments. Campers are assigned to a swim level based on the swim and aquatic activity permission form and are supervised by lifeguards and camp staff. Swimming and playing at the beach is a highlight for campers and is a long-time tradition.
