This week is gloriously grimy! Campers will roll up their sleeves with hands-on activities including giant marble paintings and edible slime. We’ll learn how ice cream is made as we travel to the Sassy Cow Creamery, but we won’t let it melt or things might get sticky!
Whether your camper is ready to dip their toes or jump right in, we will all have fun during our water- themed week. We’ll make a splash as we visit Dolphins Cove and Adventure Lagoon waterpark. Back at camp, we’ll be sure to stay cool with water games like sponge tag and drip, drip, drop. It’s going to be a splashtastic week!
From plant to plate, we’ll explore all that goes into growing the fruits and vegetables that we love. Campers will have an opportunity to plant their own flowers and even cook up some healthy farm-fresh treats. We’ll roll up our sleeves and get hands-on at Community Groundwork’s Troy Garden.
We’re ready to make the most of this farm-filled week! Campers will make animal themed crafts and participate in the ultimate egg drop challenge. We’ll mix food with farm to create chocolate haystack pretzels. Our week ends with a chance to meet farmers and barnyard animals at the Dane County Fair.
From aardvark to zebras and every animal in between, we’re wild about them all! Get ready for a wildly good time during our animal themed week. We’ll learn about animals close to home with a nature walk around camp. Then, we’ll explore animals around the world at the Henry Vilas Zoo. Let’s take a walk on the wild side!
3, 2, 1…blast off! Campers will journey into undiscovered realms as we explore all things space! From baking soda rockets to edible solar systems, this week is going to be out of this world. Campers will have an opportunity to get hands-on with space, science and technology at the Tommy Bartlett Exploratory.
This week is all about celebrating campers and encouraging them to be their best selves. We’re all a little wacky and that’s what makes us wonderful. Campers will have an opportunity to share their special skills with a camp talent show. Things might be a little silly as we celebrate all-camp wacky hair day. This wonderful week concludes with a trip to the Children’s Theater of Madison to see a production of Annie.
This final week of fun at Camp Wildcat will be packed with special events and multiple field trips. Campers will combine their summer favorites with friends, a DJ and great memories to end summer with a bang. Possible field trips include Discovery World, Milwaukee County Zoo, Wisconsin state parks, local farms, museums and more. Join us as we experience the best of the best!
Campers will spend the last week of summer at the Lussier Family Heritage Center at Lake Farm Park, 3101 Lake Farm Road., Madison.
Summer may be coming to an end, but the fun hasn’t stopped yet. While there is time in the day and sun in the sky, join us for summer’s last hurrah! As summer comes to an end, it only leaves us wanting more. Encore, summer! Encore!

Milk is available daily for snack and lunch when campers are on site. Completely disposable lunches are required on field trips.
Rejuvenate | After an active morning and a satisfying lunch, campers slow down and rest a bit before another round of fun begins in the afternoon.

Group Time | Campers will spend the majority of their camp week in established small groups of 12-17 campers based on age. Each small group is led by a counselor who plans age-appropriate, theme-related activities for their assigned group of campers.
