All Day Programs are offered on select non-school days for children in the Madison Metropolitan School District. Children must be actively enrolled in a Wisconsin Youth Company After School program to register for an All Day Program.

Program Hours |  9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Each All Day Program offers a new theme, exciting projects, and an off-site field trip or guest presenter. Children must bring their own lunch. Snacks and milk are provided.

Please note: All field trips and presenters listed below are subject to change. Any changes to field trips and presenters will be shared with registered families via email.

Theme: Seeing Sounds!  |  Get ready for a day of discovery as we explore how science and music come together in surprising ways!

Presenter: Mr. Jim, Children’s Musician

Theme: Remarkable Readers  |  Join us as we dive into the world of books and celebrate our favorite stories through fun, hands-on activities.

Presenter: Storytime with Stacey, Madison Library Dream Bus

Theme: Goal Getters  |  We’ll stay active and work as a team during this high-energy day of sports, games, and friendly competition. 

Presenter: UW Spirit Squad

Theme: Garden Gallery  |  Creativity will bloom as we explore the beauty of plants through art, nature, and a little imagination.

Field Trip: Chazen Museum

Theme: Barnyard Beats  |  Cluck, moo, and strum along as we explore the sounds of the farm! We’ll sing, dance, and meet a special guest who plays barnyard tunes on the banjo.

Presenter: Banjo band

Theme: Ocean Explorers  |  Dive in for a deep-sea day of ocean animals, underwater science, and ocean-themed fun. 

Presenter: Marvelous Michelle Bubble Lady Extraordinaire

Theme: ROCKstars  |  From fossils to crystals, we’ll dig into geology and discover what rocks really rock! 

Field Trip: Cave of the Mounds

$80  |  per child, per All Day Program 

$10  |  deposit per child, per All Day Program, due at time of registration

  • Deposit is non-transferrable and non-refundable
  • Balance of program fees is due 5 business days prior to program date

Weather Related Changes and Cancellations
If weather conditions have the potential to cause a dangerous situation for staff or families, All Day Program will not operate. Wisconsin Youth Company will do its best to notify families as soon as possible in the case that a program is canceled. An announcement will be made via email and on our website. Families will also be notified of the cancellation via text message. There is no credit or fee reduction for days missed.

Schedule Changes  |  Families may withdraw from an All Day Program any time until the end of the business day six business days prior to the scheduled program. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable when ADP registration is dropped.
