2023 Summer camp registration is open!

Join us this summer for a safe and engaging experience at Camp Connection and give your camper the opportunity to build friendships in a welcoming environment.  

Camp Connection includes:  

  • A new and exciting theme each week 
  • Hands-on projects, activities and engaging free-choice options  
  • Weekly off-site field trip and swim trip to a local aquatic facility, at a low staff to camper ratio 
  • An opportunity to build friendships and memories in a small group with other similar-aged campers  
  • Snack and milk provided each day 
  • T-shirt provided for swimming and field trips 

Camp Connection offers weekly enrollment from June 12 through August 11 (no camp July 24-28).  Campers participate in supervised self-directed activities, play outside and enjoy fun games with friends.  

Wisconsin Youth Company puts the health and safety of campers and staff first. Camp Connection is licensed by the Department of Children & Families and is and YoungStar rated.  

Tuition assistance is available to families for all programs.

You may register or add weeks any time until the end of the business day on Friday (5 p.m.) six business days prior to the week being requested, provided space is available.

There’s nothing much better than a beautiful Wisconsin summer day! We get things started this summer with a week of celebrating all our wonderful state has to offer. Campers will learn all about Wisconsin through games, projects and group activities. We will take our first field trip to Old World Wisconsin.

Things are sure to get STEAM-y at camp this week, as our campers put on their lab coats in the pursuit of SCIENCE! Mad Science of Milwaukee will visit camp to guide us through some fun experiments.  There will be lots of opportunities to participate in STEAM and building activities.

This week is all about the growth that happens all around us during the summer months. We’re talking about plants of course! Campers will focus on all the best parts of summer growth, everything from flowers to tasty food. Camps will also visit Jelli’s Market to pick some fruit and see farm animals.

Whether your camper is ready to dip their toes or dive right in, we will all have fun during our water-themed week. There will be sponge races, water balloon tosses, and water relays. We’ll take a dip at the pool for our weekly swimming trip. It’s going to be a splashtastic week!

Field Trip: Due to the short week, campers will attend one swim trip this week.  

Lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my! This week at camp is all about walking on the wild side, as campers engage in tons of fun centered around animals both familiar and exotic. If just talking about all their favorites wasn’t enough, camps will head to Retzer Nature Center to take a nature walk and look for animals native to our area.

This week at camp we celebrate a summer staple, the county fair! With tasty food, awesome games, and award-winning arts and animals, what’s not to love? Campers will work to create their own fair games during the week, and attend the Waukesha County Fair as well!

Join us as we move our bodies and get our groove on with crazy dance moves, engaging activities, and active games. We’ll even take a field trip to Discovery World to learn about the science behind motion. Campers will need lots of energy for this week of nonstop fun!

Join us for our last week of summer camp. We will play our favorite games, create our favorite snacks, and enjoy spending time with friends made at camp. For our last week, we’re even adding an extra field trip into the mix! Campers will head to American Family Field for a behind-the-scenes tour and then we’ll finish off camp with a picnic at the park. Let’s make this week the best week of summer!

Please note: Families are varied and the use of the word Parent(s) refers to the adult(s) who are responsible for the child(ren).

Camp Hours  |  Weekly camp schedules are established based on the summer school schedule.
Half-day camp hours are11:55 a.m.-6 p.m. and full-day camp hours are 8 a.m.-6 p.m. All campers must be picked up by 4 p.m. on Friday, August 11. 

Weekly Schedule  |  Days of the week and activity times may vary slightly from the provided sample schedule. Weekly welcome letters with camp-specific details are emailed to Parents.    

Monday Kick-Off  |  On Monday, counselors welcome campers, review rules & emergency procedures, and share weekly plans with campers.   

Snack & Lunch  |  Morning (full-day camp only) and afternoon snacks are served daily. Campers bring their own nut-free lunch. Lunches should be packed so that they do not require refrigeration or heating. Milk is available daily for snack and lunch.  

Field Trips/Presenters  |  Camps take one field trip and one swim trip weekly, transportation is provided by school bussing partners. Some camps may take walking field trips to nearby parks or other locations during the week, approved by the program manager. Details will be shared in weekly email welcome letters.      

Group Time  |  Campers will spend the majority of their camp week in established small groups of 12-18 campers based on age. Each small group is led by a counselor who facilitates age-appropriate, theme-related activities for their assigned group of campers.  

Camp Connection Fees  |  per child, per week  |  Tuition assistance is available to families for all programs

*Due to the updated summer school schedule and in an effort to provide the best possible camp experience, Monday-Thursday registrations will not be available for summer 2023.

Weekly Deposits  |  Deposits are applied toward weekly fees and are non-refundable and
non-transferable.
$15 per child, per week 

Remaining Fees  |  Remaining weekly fee (less deposit) is due by the end of the business day Monday (5 p.m.) five business days prior to the start of program.
