Join us this summer for a safe and engaging experience at Camp of the Lakes and give your camper the opportunity to build friendships in a welcoming environment.

Each week includes:

  • A new and exciting theme
  • Hands-on projects, activities and engaging free-choice options
  • One off-site field trip and a swim trip to a local aquatic facility
  • Weekly festival
  • An opportunity to build friendships and memories in a small group with other similar-aged campers

Weekly camp hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Campers participate in bi-weekly off-site field trips, including a swimming trip to a local aquatic facility. Campers receive a camp t-shirt on their first day at camp that should be worn during all off-site activities, including swim trips.

Wisconsin Youth Company puts the health and safety of campers and staff first. All programs follow CDC, public health and Department of Children & Families guidelines. Elementary age day camps are American Camp Association (ACA) accredited and YoungStar rated.

Tuition assistance is available to families for all programs.

Monday Kick-Off  |  On Monday, counselors welcome campers, review rules and emergency procedures, and share weekly plans with campers.

Snack & Lunch  |  Morning and afternoon snacks are served daily. Campers bring their own nut-free lunch. Lunches should be packed so they do not require refrigeration or heating. Field Trips & Swimming  |  Camps take one field trip and one swim trip weekly; transportation is provided by school bus partners. Some camps may take walking field trips to nearby parks or other locations during the week, approved by the summer program director. Guest presenters may be invited to camp as well. Details will be shared in weekly email welcome letters.

Group Time  |  Campers spend the majority of their camp week in established small groups of 12-18 campers based on age. Each small group is led by a counselor who facilitates age-appropriate, theme-based activities for their assigned group of campers.

Weekly Festival  |  The weekly festival is a celebration of the week designed around the theme. Included is an opportunity for campers to share highlights from their week and create new traditions within their small group. Weekly festivals include talent shows, carnivals, field games, water fun, and much more.
