In response to a gap in community resources, this year the supply drive is expanding to serve high school students. Now, elementary, middle, and high school students can receive a backpack full of school supplies at Theresa Terrace Neighborhood Center’s annual Back2School Block Party.

4 Ways You Can Help

Community support makes this drive possible. Here’s how you can pitch in and help make sure every backpack is filled with the essential school supplies:

  1. Drop off supplies. Donate new school supplies at one of 17 collection sites throughout Dane county. Find a drop-off location. All donations will be collected on August 11.
  2. Shop the Amazon Wishlist. Browse the Amazon Wishlist and send supplies directly to Wisconsin Youth Company — quick and easy!
  3. Donate a backpack — and your donation will be matched! Through a partnership with Fenrici, every backpack you donate will be matched with another. That means double the impact for students in need. Donate a backpack here
  4. Make a financial gift. Your monetary donation helps fill in the gaps and ensures every student gets what they need. Give here.

All backpacks will be distributed Thursday, August 21 at the 10th annual Back2School Block Party.

We’re proud to have generous local sponsors making this drive possible, including Findorff, Husky Homes, Krupp General Contractors, Park Bank, and Fenrici. Their support ensures that hundreds of students can focus on learning, not on what they’re missing.
