Adam Cabell recognized for Outstanding Youth Worker Award

Madison, Wisconsin (Tuesday, August 20, 2024) — Madison-area Out-of-School Time recognizes Wisconsin Youth Company’s Program Supervisor Adam Cabell with its annual Outstanding Youth Worker Award. Cabell is one of six Madison-area youth workers to be recognized with this award which will be presented at MOST’s Outstanding Youth Worker Reception. Cabell was nominated by his peers and colleagues, and chosen through a selection process that included a panel of youth in the Madison area.

“Adam is a valuable member of our organization,” says, Stephany Aimeé, after school program manager, Wisconsin Youth Company. “He works hard throughout the school year to ensure his After School program is safe and inclusive to all students.”

Cabell joined Wisconsin Youth Company in 2015 as an after school group leader where he led children in indoor and outdoor activities at After School. He has been promoted several times during his tenure with the organization including to Site Supervisor, planning and managing the After School program at Crestwood Elementary, and his current positions as Program Supervisor and Assistant Director of Middle School U.

“The partnership between Wisconsin Youth Company and Crestwood Elementary is strong thanks to Adam’s commitment. He makes it a priority to build connections with everyone and makes himself accessible to all. School staff and parents know him by name and have peace of mind knowing their children are under his care,” Aimeé adds.

The award reception takes place during MOST’s annual conference at Madison Youth Arts Center, Wednesday, August 28.
