Dear After School families,

November was a month for change as the weather grew colder. Students have done a great job adapting to new outside rules and scheduling as we have started to see snow on the ground!

During November at After School, we decorated and wrote in our thankful notebooks, created art for our community, had a board game tournament, played with Pokémon cards, and had a lot of fun in the snow! Our community is becoming kind, welcoming, and creative, thanks to the contributions of our students and staff.

In December, we look forward to spending more time playing outside in the snow, exploring the science of seasons, and creating an After School recipe book. Please send any holiday or winter recipes to Allison at akalupa@wisconsinyouthcompany.org and they will be included in a collection for each student to take home.

Now that we are seeing snow on the ground, your child(ren) will need a coat, a hat, gloves, snowpants, and boots to enjoy our playground or play in the snow.

We are looking forward to December after making great memories in November.

Thank you from the After School Arboretum team!
