January Recap:

We had a good time in January. We re-established our program expectations after the long break. We enjoyed getting outside even though it was a bit wet. We did some crafts with cotton balls, glue, and pipe cleaners. The kids created their own coloring sheets.

February Happenings:

This month we will:

  • Make musical instruments
  • Celebrate Black History
  • Make Valentine treats
  • Work toward earning our end-of-the month incentive

Family Engagement:

Some of the older kids from group 2 had a cool idea to open a print shop. They took ideas from the other students and drew them on white paper with black marker and there you have it, a print shop. This was very creative and inclusive.

Thanks to everyone who has been sending toilet paper and paper towel tubes. We had a blast making holiday creations with them! The kids are still finding creative ways to use them so keep them coming.
