Greetings Elm Lawn families,

We hope everyone had a fabulous May and is ready for June! In May, we completed projects revolving around science, fun & games, and food. During these weeks, we completed projects such as volcanoes, making Play-Dough, playing kickball, scavenger hunts, and making delicious pancakes, smoothies, and ice cones.

In June, we look forward to weekly themes of “Creative Art” and “Carnival Day.” These themes will involve projects and activities such as designing and painting sunglasses, tie dye, three-legged race, sack race, egg-spoon race, etc.

Riddle Fun!

Each day, children work to solve a daily riddle. Can you solve these? (Answers below)

  1. What begins with T, ends with T, and has T in it?
  2. What can go up a chimney when down but can’t go down a chimney when up?
  3. How is an island like the letter T?
