Family Events
Greetings families!
As the month of November comes to a close, we want to say how thankful we are to have you as part of our After School family. We hope to continue to get to know you more in the coming months and to make stronger connections with your child(ren).
This past month was filled with exploring different themes and interests — from Pokémon (puzzles, show N tell, stress balls), to dinosaurs (masks, hats, puppets, fossils, egg hatching) to harvest and thankful (apple pie in a cup and scented spice art).
We will be ready to continue the fun in the colder months by enjoying more projects that can help us beat the cold and spark creativity and imagination. We plan to focus on topics such as homesteading with making butter and jam, learning to weave, and making a cookbook. Another week we plan to celebrate the children’s interests by letting them choose projects and activities they enjoy and want to see at After School. Finally, we hope to celebrate winter and learn about all the holidays that come along with it.
We can’t wait to see what fun November brings!
Thanks,
Allison and Taylor
