Get to Know Staff:

During the winter months, Ms. Erica and Ms. Kaite share in a few cozy hobbies such as reading, cooking, and video games. Erica recently enjoyed reading “Circe” by Madeline Miller and Kaite just picked up “Midnight Timetable” by Nora Chung. We’ve both made the viral Trader Joe’s dumpling bake, and have been putting in hours on games like Animal Crossing and Zelda.

December & January Recap:

December and January were a great couple of months. We did all sorts of activities and projects, and got outside in all sorts of weather! We had our last Science Club of the year. The kids made their own spaghetti and marshmallow structures. We watched the classic film “Snow Buddies,” made paper bag lanterns with Ms. Erica, and enjoyed playing in the snow, and kickball when the weather was nice!

February Happenings:

In February, we will cook and bake more. We asked the kids what sorts of projects they want to do, and it was 99 percent food related (no complaints!).

We are also looking forward to and busy planning our Winter Family Night. Keep an eye out for your invitation!

Family Engagement:

How did your family stay busy over winter break? Did you try out any projects that your child would like to try again at After School?

Join us for summer fun!
