Meet the Staff

All staff have education and/or experience related to working with children. They receive training prior to the start of the school year and are certified in first aid and CPR. All staff receive additional training regarding health & wellness and cleaning & sanitation protocols.

Program Location 

Before and After School programs are located in the gym. The entrance to the gym is located on the third floor off of Greenmeadow Ave. Please use Door 12 for entrance into program. 

Before School Drop-off  

  • Please ring the bell at Door 12. Staff will greet you at the door. 
  • Parent will enter and sign their children into program. 
  • Children will check in with staff and put their belongings in a basket.   

After School Pick-up  

  • Please ring the bell at Door 12. Staff will greet you at the door.
  • Parent will enter and sign their children out of program. 
  • If a different pre-authorized pick-up person is planning to pick-up from After School, please notify our administrative office or the site directly.

Daily Activities  

  • Wisconsin Youth Company staff will create weekly lesson plans tiered to the children’s interests   
  • Our program helps your children to discover new opportunities through our choice-based curriculum    
  • Within the daily activities, children will have a chance to participate in STEM, art projects, community building games, and other various hands-on activities to expand their developmental growth. Along with developing important life skills such as language, social, and emotional skills.    
  • There will be time for daily outdoor play (weather permitted) where children will participate in group games and explore the playground   
  • Children are also provided with the opportunity to complete homework   

Snack  

  • A morning and afternoon snack will be provided, along with milk
  • All snacks served at program are nut-free

Early Release  

On scheduled early release dates, before school will be the only program offered for scheduled families. There will be no After School program offered on early dismissal days. 

Get to Know Staff:

Ms. Kali is looking forward to playing four-square outside in the spring weather and tie-dying!

Ms. Harjinder is looking forward to spending his mornings outside with the kids.

Mr. Ethan is looking forward to playing card games and enjoying warm weather.

March & April Recap:

In March, we had fun celebrating St. Patrick’s Day by making leprechaun traps! Unfortunately, we had no luck catching him this year, but he did leave us with some gold and green milk! The kids experimented and grew rainbows with water and paper towels, and the older kids worked on STEM machine projects.

May Happenings:

In April, we love the fresh air and going outside. The kids enjoyed making carnival games for our spring family gathering. They also enjoyed tie-dying at Before School. We look forward to celebrating Mother’s Day by making muffins for mom on Monday, May 11!

Family Engagement: 

The children have loved building! Ask your kids what their favorite thing to build in Before and After School is!

    • Friday, May 22 — Early Release: Before School Only/No After School

    • Wednesday, June 10 – Last day of After School
    • Thursday, June 11 – Last day of Before School
  • Summer 2026 Registration opens Wednesday, March 4. Learn more.
  • Please help your kids remember to grab their tag when they get to program in the morning and when they are leaving at the end of the day.
  • If your child is going to be absent from program, please text or call our message attendance line at 262–547–2326.
  • Please send your kids with appropriate outside clothing. See weather chart below.

24-Hour Attendance Message Line: 262-547-2326  |  Please text or call the message line when your child(ren) will be absent from program. All absences must be reported. Please include your child(ren)’s name, program, and the date(s) of absence.
