Get to Know Staff:

What is your favorite holiday tradition?

  • Elizabeth: Making my own wrapping paper out of brown paper grocery bags and painting them! It’s been a tradition in my family since I was born.
  • Mai: Going to see light displays!
  • Jacobi: Gathering with family and friends around yummy food!

November Recap:

Since daylight saving time, we have been enjoying our new schedule by going outside first and then ending program in the gym. We learned how to make beaded animal key chains. We had lots of fun trying to make different animals! We played a portrait game where we drew selfportraits then piled them all together. Ms. Elizabeth randomly passed out the self-portraits; everyone had to try and find the person whose self-portrait they were handed

December Happenings:

We are looking forward to making ornaments that will be hung on the Christmas tree in the state capitol building! We only have a few more Science Club days but are excited to see what Ms. Lauren has planned. We are going to make catapults and launch pompom balls. We are excited to decorate holiday cookies to eat.
