Location  |  Crestwood Elementary, 5930 Old Sauk Rd., Madison.

  • Program takes place in the Old Gym – The entrance to the gym is located at the main entrance doors (Door #1) on the south side of the building.

Hours |  9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

  • Important note for October 3 drop-off. Children will be departing for their field trip at 9:15 a.m. Please ensure your child is dropped off between 9-9:10 a.m.

What to Bring to Program  |  Please only send your child(ren) with the following items. All items should be labeled with your child’s first and last name:  

  • Lunch (nut-free) that does not need to be refrigerated or microwaved  
  • Gym shoes or sandals with a heel strap (no flip flops)  
  • Water bottle labeled with child’s first and last name 
  • Coat, hat, gloves, snow pants and boots, as needed. Children will play outside.
  • Extra set of clothing, as needed 

Authorized Pick-up Person  |  Only authorized pick-up people can pick up your child. If you would like to add an additional authorized pick-up person, please email info@wisconsinyouthcompany.org. All authorized pick-up people are encouraged to have a photo ID on them. With the safety of children in mind, staff will check IDs if they have not met a pick-up person or do not recognize a pick-up person.

Absences  |  Please text or call the 24-hour attendance message line, 608-276-9898, if your child(ren) will be absent. 

Weather Related Changes and Cancellations
If weather conditions have the potential to cause a dangerous situation for staff or families, All Day Program will not operate. Wisconsin Youth Company will do its best to notify families as soon as possible in the case that a program is canceled. An announcement will be made via email and on our website. Families will also be notified of the cancellation via text message. There is no credit or fee reduction for days missed.

Pick-up and drop-off
  • Drop-off is 9 – 9:30 a.m (unless noted differently on the Welcome tab); pick-up is no later than 4 p.m.
  • Parents will text or call the program phone, 608-445-8026, upon arriving to program. Staff will have Parent 1 and 2 phone numbers programmed into their cell phone. To verify the phone numbers listed on your account please contact info@wisconsinyouthcompany.org. Staff will have children clean up and gather belongings. Parents should enter through Door#1 after being let in by staff, unless picking up directly from the playground. 
  • If a different pre-authorized pick-up person is planning to pick-up from program, please notify our administrative office or the site directly . 
Snack
  • A morning and afternoon snack will be provided. 
  • All snacks served at program are nut-free. 
  • Milk will also be served. 
  • Please see the Wisconsin Youth Company Program Handbook for more details about snack.

Please note that staff are engaged with children during program hours and may not be able to answer. Please leave a message and they will get back to you.  

24-Hour Attendance Message Line:  608-276-9898  |  Please text or call the message line when your child(ren) will be absent from program. All absences must be reported. Please include your child(ren)’s name, program, and the date(s) of absence.
