Elver Park Neighborhood Center Joins Community Resilience Hub Network As Inaugural Member
New network looks to provide resources to Madison community during emergencies

Madison, Wisconsin (Wednesday, October 7, 2026) — Elver Park Neighborhood Center is joining a new network of Community Resilience Hubs in Madison providing access to information and resources during public emergencies.

City of Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway said in a news release this network creates an efficient, familiar way to connect community members with necessary resources as increasingly dangerous weather impacts peoples’ daily lives.

Wisconsin Youth Company Director of Neighborhood Centers Jennifer Weber said Elver Park Neighborhood Center is proud to join the network as one of its inaugural members.

“As a longstanding community pillar dedicated to strengthening our neighborhood, we view this partnership as an important step to ensuring we are equipped to serve and support our community in case of emergencies,” Weber said.

Elver Park Neighborhood Center will serve as a place community members can charge their electronic devices, seek relief shelter from the elements, and find disaster recovery resources when events like natural disasters, severe weather, extreme temperatures, power outages, and more occur.

Weber said she plans to continue adapting Elver Park Neighborhood Center to meet the evolving needs of Madison’s southwest side.

“We know the importance of preparedness and recovery aid during times of crisis and are honored to be a part of these efforts in southwest Madison,” Weber concluded.
