April Recap:

In April, we celebrated Earth Day by painting pots, making bird feeders, and practicing our recycling. Thank you for coming to our family night! The kids worked extremely hard to create decorations and posters about Earth Day. They encouraged their peers to keep the Earth green and keep on recycling. We loved how enthusiastic the kids were to create different paper chains and create different color combinations.

In addition, shout out to the kids for doing such a great job when we experienced some severe weather last month. We beat the rain on most days and spent as much time outside as we could! The kids really enjoyed playing basketball and soccer together.

May Happenings:

We are so close to the end of the school year! This month we hope to spend as much time outside as possible and enjoy the beautiful weather. We hope to play some large group games of soccer, kickball, and even play Jeopardy to see who knows their After School teachers the best! Ms. Kaila also won Bingo during a staff event and hopes to create some fun chalk drawings with the kids!

Family Engagement:
