Hello After School families!

Last month, we focused on doing lots of activities together to celebrate fun national days. Some of the kids’ favorite projects were:

  • Dirt cups for Groundhogs Day
  • Bulletin board quilt for Black History Month
  • Personal pizzas for National Pizza Day
  • Tissue paper flowers for Valentine’s Day
  • Kites for National Fly a Kite Day
  • Cards for National Send a Card to a Friend Day
  • Mug pancakes for National Pancake Day

We also revamped our ball bag for outside and have been spending lots of time playing football, soccer, and even volleyball with the warmer weather.

This month, we are looking forward to warmer weather so that we can do more projects and activities outside. The kids have already started coming up with activities for us to do together. We will be having Camille’s paper airplane competition, playing Kylan’s hover soccer, and continuing to do fun cooking projects!

We hope everyone enjoys their spring break! Sammy is hoping for some warmer weather so she can take her dog on some extra long walks.
