COVID-19: Program Information

SHARE:

Wisconsin Youth Company has been closely monitoring the evolving situation with COVID-19. We have been in communication with our schools, partners and public health officials tfollow the most up-to-date guidance on preventing the spread of this illness. In following best practices, Wisconsin Youth Company will not offer programs on days when schools are closed due to coronavirus. Additionally, Elver Park Neighborhood Center will operate for essential services only. Dates and hours to be determined.

We understand the challenges of being a guardian, educator and child during these uncertain times. Families will not be billed for the time their child was scheduled while schools are closed due to COVID-19 for up to three weeks and no credit card auto-pays will occur during this time. Any accounts reflecting a credit will be applied to future billing cycles.

We ask you to consider donating a part or all of the credit fee for after school programming back to Wisconsin Youth Company. Any family wishing to donate this credit can simply email our office at info@wisconsinyouthcompany.org. Any support goes a long way to ensure we can serve families in our community. These funds will be put toward providing food and activities for families in need through Elver Park Neighborhood Center as well as paying our staff who are unable to work due to school closures.

Additionally, we are hosting an Activity Drive to gather new toys, books, puzzles, games and other items children can use while they are home from school. These items can be dropped off at Elver Park Neighborhood Center to be distributed with food. If you prefer, you can mail these items to: 1201 McKenna Blvd., Madison, WI 53519.

For the health and safety of families and staff, please contact our office at info@wisconsinyouthcompany.org if you have been in close contact with someone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19.

We are receiving a lot of questions and communication from families about this new situation. We appreciate your patience as we work to respond to everyone as quickly as we can. We are constantly monitoring the situation and making decisions as we receive information. We will communicate to families any new developments through email.
