The holiday season that is meant to be full of joy can, instead, be a time of stress and financial strain for families struggling with financial insecurity. When our community comes together, we can reduce this burden on Madison-area families.
Elver Park and Theresa Terrace Neighborhood Centers, operated by Wisconsin Youth Company, are hosting their 5th Annual Holiday Toy Drive to benefit children and families on Madison’s southwest side. The need this year is greater than ever due to rising costs of toys and games, on top of rising living expenses.
Every toy, game, gift, or financial donation makes a difference for the families in our community.
How can you help?
- Check out our Amazon Charity List to purchase gifts and ship them directly to the neighborhood center, or use this list as inspiration.
- Purchase gift cards for restaurants and stores near Elver Park Neighborhood Center (Madison’s southwest side). Gift cards make great gifts and are especially appreciated by our teen program participants.
- Make a monetary donation. You can fill the gap in donated gifts and the need through a donation. Please leave a comment in the donation form stating that the donation is specifically for the Holiday Toy Drive.
- Drop off gifts at one of our donation stations. A full list of donation station host sites is below:
