In Good Company Breakfast Celebrates Businesses Giving Back
Second annual event recognizes Husky Homes for supporting working families

Madison, Wisconsin (Wednesday, August 2, 2023) — Wisconsin Youth Company presented Husky Homes with the Community Partner Award for its partnership and support at the second annual In Good Company partner appreciation breakfast. Husky Homes’ support has helped to provide program supplies, scholarships, and volunteer assistance in many other aspects of Wisconsin Youth Company programs.

“We are thrilled to bring together so many organizations dedicated to investing in and strengthening community,” said Emily Wills, development director, Wisconsin Youth Company. “Out-of-school time programs provide stability and support for children and families, which leads to thriving community. It is vital to have business leaders and individuals who are invested in ensuring this work is sustainable.”

More than 30 representatives from area businesses attended the event at Olbrich Botanical Gardens to recognize and celebrate their impact on youth programming. Husky Homes Director of Operations Kerri Fabin was on-site to accept the award and speak about Husky Homes’ commitment and investment to the community.

“Husky Homes has been a consistent partner for the past two years,” Wills said. “Its leadership team is always looking for ways to give back and do more to make our community the best it can be. The Husky Homes team has done it all — sponsored events, volunteered, and made financial contributions that directly support Wisconsin Youth Company’s children and staff.”

Last year, Madison-area design firm Kahler Slater was presented with the inaugural Community Partner Award.
