Leatherman, Miles, Zuehlke Join Board of Directors

 

Meghan Leatherman, communications strategist consultant for American Family Insurance, is passionate about helping people tell their story. She has experience building and executing large-scale campaigns for commercial, government and not-for-profit companies in a mix of industries. Meghan’s expertise lies in communications strategy; leveraging digital channels to maximize stakeholder and/or employee engagement. And she has been responsible for leading project teams, building client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and mentoring employees on career growth and best practices.  

Meghan graduated from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wis., and has worked in Nashville, San Diego, and Phoenix before moving to Madison, Wis., with her husband, rescue dog and four children. She feels strongly about feminism, cooking, brand loyalty and a good pair of shoes. 

  

Dalton Miles, English teacher, Mineral Point School District, is in his fourth year as a classroom teacher, and his experiences include rural and urban education in the middle/high school setting. He has a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in special education. Dalton is actively working on an educational specialist degree to transition into the field of school psychology. He has experience working with children in after school and summer programs, including coaching basketball, guiding book clubs, teaching outdoor skills, and guiding children through high-adventure programs. Dalton’s volunteer experience includes serving on many boards throughout his undergraduate experience. He was recently named treasurer/scholarship chairperson for the recently re-established Wisconsin Chapter of the National Association of Multicultural Education. 

  

Beth Zuehlke is the chief customer officer at Moxe Health, a healthcare technology company in based in Madison, Wis. She has held leadership roles at several technology companies including president of Safe Bridge Solutions, a project management and IT staffing and consulting company. Beth has worked at a range of companies from small startups to large companies like Epic and CUNA Mutual.  

Beth has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from University of Iowa, and a master’s degree in rehabilitation psychology from the University of Wisconsin. She grew up on a farm in northeast Iowa, and has lived in Madison for 26 years. Beth and her husband have two children; their daughter is a freshman at Georgetown University, and their son is a sophomore at Madison West High School. Both children attended Queen of Peace School through 8th grade with a strong community and after school programs.
