Q1: When did you start working with Wisconsin Youth Company and what has been your favorite memory so far?
I started working with Wisconsin Youth Company in February 2015! It’s so hard to pick a favorite memory, but one of my fondest memories has involved working with Ms. Laura at After School at Shorewood Hills Elementary.

Q2: What is the most important thing you learned as a child that still applies today?
My parents always taught me at a young age to believe in myself.

Q3: Who was a mentor you looked up to when you were younger? Why did you look up to them?
My parents definitely fulfilled that mentor role for me when I was younger. They displayed professional work ethics and a drive for elevating themselves to higher levels through personal growth and career growth despite facing adverse times.

Q4: What is your favorite part about working with kids?
One of my favorite things about working with kids is how they can take you by surprise! They can truly say some of the silliest things in a high-tense moment and have you and a group of others laughing when you least expect it. Kids have a great skill to keep your youthful spirit in check and to remind all of us to not take life too seriously.

Say “hi” to Mr. Adam next time you see him!
