Join us for our two-week summer theater immersion camp which invites young performers into an engaging, student-driven production of The Snow White Variety Show. Throughout the session, campers will:

  • Design and build their own sets and props
  • Create their costumes
  • Work on memorization techniques to remember lines
  • Partake in fun and engaging improvisational games
  • Take an active role in bringing this fast-paced, genre-shifting show to life!

As the seven dwarves retell Snow White’s story in their own distinct voices, the style of the performance transforms. From romance and comedy to Western and mystery, including home-improvement parody and cooking show segments, each character will bring a new comedic twist that will delight performers and spectators. Everyone plays a part! Under the guidance of an experienced director, campers will participate in daily improvisation games and learn essential performance skills including voice projection, audience engagement, and comedic timing. With flexible casting, simple staging, and opportunities for each participant to shine, this program offers an enriching experience for both new and seasoned performers. Family and friends are invited to the final performance on the afternoon of Friday, July 17 in the Verona Area Middle School Performing Arts Center, with refreshments to follow as we celebrate the cast’s creativity and hard work.
