Wisconsin Youth Company Postpones Thrive in Stride, Presents 50th Anniversary Gala
Event will celebrate organization’s 50 years of supporting working families
Madison, Wisconsin (Thursday, March 7, 2024) — Wisconsin Youth Company hosts its Stay Golden Gala in place of its annual fun run/walk Thrive in Stride in celebration of its momentous 50th anniversary. Instead of lacing up sneakers, supporters are invited to dust off their dancing shoes for a groovy and nostalgic 70s-themed event.
“In 50 years, the need for after school has changed. Our organization has changed with that need. One thing that has remained constant is the impact that high-quality programs have on children and families. I’m excited to think about all of the lives we will change in the next 50 years,” says Rebecca Carlin, executive director, Wisconsin Youth Company.
The evening will recognize the decade Wisconsin Youth Company was founded, and promises an evening full of fun, live music, and opportunities to support Wisconsin Youth Company’s mission. Attendees can anticipate a trip down memory lane while also acknowledging the impactful journey Wisconsin Youth Company has taken over the past five decades in helping children thrive beyond the school day.
The Stay Golden Gala will take place Thursday, June 27 at Delta Beer Lab. Early-bird tickets go on sale Friday, April 12. Please join our email list or follow our social media for updates.
